By using FindMyMOT, you agree to these terms. They’re straightforward — no small print traps.

Who we are

FindMyMOT is operated by Kael Tripton, based in London, United Kingdom. We list DVSA-authorised MOT testing stations and help drivers connect with them via WhatsApp.

What we do

We provide a directory of UK MOT garages sourced from the official DVSA register. We introduce drivers to garages via WhatsApp. We do not arrange, process, or guarantee any MOT service — that’s between you and the garage.

For drivers

• Using FindMyMOT is free. Always.
• We don’t charge booking fees or commission.
• We are not responsible for the MOT service you receive. Disputes are between you and the garage.
• You agree to provide accurate contact details when enquiring.

For garages

• Claiming a listing is free.
• To activate the “Verified” badge and receive driver enquiries via WhatsApp, Founding Partners pay £100/year (price locked for 3 years).
• You may cancel anytime from your Stripe receipt — but cancellation ends the founding price lock.
• You must accurately represent your garage. False claims may result in listing removal without refund.
• You are solely responsible for the MOT service you provide. FindMyMOT is a directory, not a regulator.

Content accuracy

Garage data comes from the official DVSA register. We update it regularly but cannot guarantee real-time accuracy. If you spot an error, please email us.

Limitation of liability

FindMyMOT is provided “as is”. We take reasonable care but do not warrant uninterrupted service, absolute data accuracy, or any specific outcome from using our directory.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months (which is £0 for drivers, and £100 maximum for garages).

We are not liable for:

• Loss of business, revenue, or profits
• Issues with MOT service performed by any listed garage
• Any indirect or consequential loss

Intellectual property

The FindMyMOT name, logo, and platform design are ours. Garage names and addresses are DVSA public data. You may not scrape, copy, or resell the directory.

Changes to these terms

If we materially change these terms, we’ll post a notice on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in UK courts.
